Premium Range Plasterboard Access Panels
The Premium Range Plasterboard Access Panel is designed to provide fire-rated and secure access through plasterboard walls and ceilings for building services. Its strong 57mm profile ensures long-lasting durability, making it suitable for both standard and larger panel requirements. Each unit consists of a reinforced plasterboard-faced pivoting door tray and a sturdy frame, finished in powder-coated white.

Design & Construction
- Door Tray & Frame: Made from 1.0mm and 1.2mm Zintec electro-galvanised mild steel with a 25mm wide beaded frame, finished in polyester powder-coated white (RAL 9010, 20% gloss).
- Door Face: Encapsulates 12.5mm plasterboard with a simulated beaded edge to provide a key for taping and jointing or skim coating.
- Hinges: Removable spring-loaded pivot hinge system for easy installation and removal.
- Lock: 3-point square drive operated lock, riveted to the door tray, concealed by the patented SLIK invisible system.
Fire Performance
Independently tested to achieve up to 60 minutes of fire protection
in UKAS-approved laboratories, meeting both EN and BS standards.
Certification is available upon request.
Acoustic Rating
Achieves up to 36 dB Rw sound reduction (tested to BS EN ISO 140-3:1995).

Panels are available in the following sizes (hinge side stated first):
- 200 x 200 mm
- 300 x 300 mm
- 450 x 450 mm
- 600 x 600 mm
- 900 x 600 mm
Bespoke sizes are also available upon request.
Installation Instructions
- Prepare a clear, trimmed opening in the structure at least 5mm larger than the ordered panel size.
- Cut out space for pivot hinges (approx. 10mm × 6mm) to ensure smooth operation.
- Position the panel (door fitted in frame) and screw-fix using 50mm drywall screws through all pre-punched holes in the frame.
- Finish the beaded frame as you would a standard plaster stop bead.
- Skim coat carefully around the keyhole (SLIK system) for a neat finish.
- To remove the door, release the pivot hinges. Always ensure hinges and retaining chains are secure when refitting.
